The purpose of the Economic Development Committee is to build a viable economic environment for business in Anaheim by implementing programs within the community which serve to create a strong local economy and developed workforce. The committee has 5 major areas of focus: Housing, Transportation, Workforce Development, Business Development and Economic Analysis/ Forecasting. In addition to gathering and communicating information in these areas, this committee coordinates the Annual Anaheim Economic and Business Development Conference
